Michelle Flores is an artist working and living in Los Angeles. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2016, where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in 3D Media.
Working primarily on a traditional floor loom, Flores creates woven tapestry images that explore the nuances of craft and domesticity, in particular its varying interpretations and representations from traditional folk art to pop souvenirs in Mexican and Mexican American culture.
