Join us at 6:30pm on September 14 for a conversation with renowned conceptual painter Peter Zimmermann and Charlotte Kent, arts writer and Associate Professor of Visual Culture at Montclair State University.

Dr. Kent will navigate us through Zimmermann's hybrid practice, delving into how the intersection of digitalization and tangible matter expands the notion of representation. Zimmermann begins by transforming electronic source material with tools such as Adobe Photoshop to create compositions he brings into physical form through his glossy, meticulously hand-poured layers of vibrant epoxy resin.

This artist-critic dialogue is presented in conjunction with VIRTUAL PARADIGMS, Zimmermann’s first New York solo exhibition in fifteen years, presented at Nunu Fine Art New York, 318 Broome Street, September 5-November 4.

The event is open to all art enthusiasts, students, and curious minds.
