Join us at the Pence Gallery for an Artist Talk with Marsha Schindler on Saturday, April 2. For her talk, she will discuss how the installation process is a dialogue between her ideas and the mediums involved. The long evolving process of creating an immersive installation is different than creating individual works for her, and about the unfolding of how all parts speak to one another to create a unified whole.

Marsha Schindler’s work explores the connectivity between worlds–natural and human. Her interest centers on the influence these two realms impose on one another, and the development of possible communication between them. Art in Schindler’s ceramic vocabulary is a language that seeks to mend the objectification of the real–be that in natural or human form.

Her exhibit, Life Whispers, Listen Carefully, is on display March 14 - May 15, 2022.

Artist talk: Saturday, April 2, 2-3pm

Cost: Free, suggested donation $10 (no registration necessary)
