Join us for an evening of fun as we celebrate our current

ecology-focused season, ‘In this Broad Earth of Ours’

The Institute of Contemporary Art, San Diego is pleased to present its 2nd annual gala at its spacious and magical North campus in Encinitas (formerly Lux Art Institute). The entire 6-acre property will be lit up with lights, food, music, and dancing. The event will be held outdoors.

IMPACT As part of our commitment to socially engaged contemporary art, our 2nd annual Gala directly supports our residency program, regional artists, arts education programs, arts outreach to Title-I schools, and our Everyday Equity Admission program. Through our engagement initiatives and our free admission structure, we use art as a way to create points of access, understanding, equity, and unity for our community. ICA San Diego encourages a diverse audience to discover the powerful benefits of art and strengthen our local cultural ecosystem.

ATTIRE Pre-loved, pre-owned formal with an homage to our Earth (greens, blues)

SCHEDULE

VIP Reception 5:00 – 6:00 pm

VIP cocktail reception at 5 pm with specialty drinks.

Dinner and Auction 6:00 – 8:30 pm

A remarkable plant-based dinner by Chef Flor Franco and Berry Good Food Foundation followed by an auction for amazing destinations and music by Rumba Ketumba [Latino Afro Jazz band].

Dancing 8:30 – 10:00 pm

Have fun and dance to a DJ’s tunes under the starry night.

Individual $450: Dinner, auction, and dancing

VIP $600: Individual ticket benefits and VIP hour with specialty drinks

VIP+ $1,000: VIP benefits and special limited digital work by Marina Zurkow (edition of 50)

Honorary Committee $1,500: VIP+ benefits and name recognition on website, gala program, and presentation screens
