Art-Competition.net is proud to announce a “Call to Artists/Photographers”: “Abstract II” - Cash Prizes Doubled =$1,500 in cash and $6,825 in extensive marketing. First Place $1,000 in Cash. - Deadline: August 17, 2015. The competition is open to all artists 18 years of age or older.
Theme: “Abstract ll” The artist’s work can be the “abstracting of representational objects” as in expressionistic, surrealistic or cubistic work. “Pure abstraction” is also accepted where there is little to no visual references of the external world.
Eligible artwork can be any two-dimensional still medium: painting, drawing, photography, digital art, collage, flat fiber art, etc.
