Westchester NY — More than fifty drawings and paintings by Bethel CT artist Edward Burke relating to environmental issues, this exhibit is my shared artistic journey — “Colorless & Odorless” — Opening reception September 6, 2019 at the Hankin Academic Arts Building - Fine Arts Gallery - Westchester Community College.     …

Curator Melissa Hall and Matthew Ferranto, interim director of the Fine Arts Gallery at Westchester Community College, have curated this timely and relevant exhibit as it speaks to the current state of pollution of the air, sea and land and its eventual impact on our planet.

Ed Burke has established a long career as a painter and art teacher, while earning his living as a graphic designer. His most recent work focuses on environmental issues such as increased levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, and how modern habits of consumption contribute to our current environmental crisis.
