The show, Sex Symbol, explores what women perceive as emblems of the female gender with much of the work revealing personal narratives. The exhibition, held at ARTSPACE 1241 at 1241 Carpenter Street, consists of the following local artists: Nancy Hellebrand in collaboration with Shira Yudkoff, Judy Gelles, Ekaterina Popova and Phyllis Gorsen.
The gallery’s opening reception is on Friday, July 14th from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Artist talk is Sunday July 30th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
