Apr. 12 - May 31, 2019 | Receptions: Friday, Apr. 12 & May 3, 6-9 PM

Sponsored by Bill & Nancy Roe, and Far Western Anthropological Research Group

Ceramic sculpture by Northern California artists that embraces the surreal, comical, or disturbing side of life is the focus of this group exhibit. This second ‘post funk art’ generation of artists pushes the medium of clay for its expressive properties, and its ability to convey life-like textures and surfaces that they bring to fantastic heights of skill and imagination. On display are pieces by Bill Abright, Linda S. Fitz Gibbon, Lissa Hershleb, Evan Hobart, Mark Jaeger, Joseph Kowalcyk, Malia Landis, Calvin Ma, Kate MacDowell, Crystal Morey, Tony Natsoulas, Colleen Sidey, and Wesley Wright.
