Salon 2022 at BWAC

Thirty-four members of the Park Slope Windsor Terrace (PSWT) Artists group will be displaying their artwork at the BWAC Gallery, located at the Beard Street Pier, 481 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook, Brooklyn, 11231.  Paintings, illustration, pottery, photography, collage, print and sculpture will be displayed and available for purchase at all price levels. The show will be open two weekends in September: 9/10–9/11 & 9/17–9/18, 1-6 pm. The subject matter ranges from the aesthetic to reflecting contemporary issues. Free admission. Come meet the artists at the opening reception on Saturday, September 10th, from 3 to 6 pm.

After the exhibit, take in the terrific view from the Beard Street Pier at the southern tip of Red Hook, spanning the harbor from the Verrazzano Bridge to the Statue of Liberty.  Gallery visitors can also enjoy nearby restaurants, bars and shopping.  A great Brooklyn excursion!

Directions by mass transit:

NYC South Brooklyn Ferry to Red Hook Atlantic Basin stop with a 10 minute walk to pier.   

By subway with bus connection:  From the 2, 3,4,5, get off Borough Hall and get the B61 bus at Atlantic Av, nr Court.  From A & C, get off Jay Street/Metrotech and get the B61 at Smith and Livingston. From the F & G, get off at Smith and 9th Street, and get the B61 bus downstairs.  Take the B61 to Beard Street and Van Brunt.
