LOOP PRINTMAKERS SHARE THEIR SECRETS
Want to keep up with the latest printmaking ideas and techniques? Or looking for some artwork at affordable prices to light up your life? Then LOOP’s new exhibition at Bankside Gallery this September is your destination!
LOOP Artists in Print have been exhibiting together every year since 2005 and they commit to showing new work – so it really will be hot off the press. And in the last year our members have been pushing the boundaries of printmaking as well as honing their craft. This year’s exhibition will include approaches which combine digital processes with collage, which manipulate the surface to become 3D, and which ink up the body to impress onto the printing plate. Experienced LOOP artists draw on their expertise in print processes but are continuing to find new ways to examine a changing world.
You can look us up online and take a closer look in the lovely Bankside Gallery where you’ll get a chance to view at close range. As well as the Gallery staff, enthusiastic LOOP printmakers will be there every day to answer any questions. Or if you want to meet the thirty of us all together, come along to the opening or closing party and join in the buzz!
