Cambridge, United Kingdom, Feb 2, 2018 ——  “Gems of the Silk Road by Professor Jimmy Choo, OBE” is opened to the public ceremoniously in the Cambridge International Art Centre – R.G. Hung’s Gallery today showcasing the pieces created with the crossover collaboration between the internationally celebrated shoe designer Prof. Jimmy Choo OBE and talented new designer Reggie Hung. 

At the grand opening ceremony, Prof. Jimmy Choo will unveil his latest high-end customized luxury brand and share the inspiration and hidden stories behind the exhibits with the guests. 

As the founder and master craftsman of well-known high-end customized shoe brand Jimmy Choo, Prof. Jimmy Choo’s elegant exquisitely crafted shoes have adorned the feet of royalty, celebrities and pop stars all over the world. Famed for making shoes for Princess Diana, he created a series of stunning shoes for her. 

“The kindness and peace of Princess Diana will retain in my heart forever, which also is the spirt I hope to pass on with my craftsmanship generation by generation,” said Prof. Jimmy Choo. In his mind, Princess Diana is the princess shinning up the people with her eternal love. 

The worship and adoration towards Princess Diana inspired him to organize the high-end jeweled shoe exhibition this time. In the design of the last pair of shoes made by Pro. Jimmy Choo for Princess Diana, there is a V pattern decorated on the shoe refers to peace and kindness, the forever victory, showing his deep reverence towards Princess Diana. Reggie Hung, as the godson of Prof. Jimmy Choo, understands his feelings thoroughly so that he has designed a collection of jewelries to cohere with the theme of the exhibition as “Peace and Kindness”. 

The one-month exhibition will display a unique collection of pieces including dedicatedly designed jewelries, the latest crafted pair of jeweled shoes, sets of jeweled mini-shoes and a variety of designs.
