Artist ( Description ):

Aldina Olivi (Italy) lives in Barcelona since 2010 and has been working in ceramics for more than 35 years.

In his workshop, he experiences, researches, searches, because pottery itself is a world and, perhaps, a life is not enough to explore it.

It has been formed in Faenza, Montelupo Fiorentino, Urbino, cities that have a unique role in the history of ancient and modern ceramics.

He has attended many events and pottery classes with David Roberts, Ruthanne Tudball, Emidio Galassi, Giovanni Cimatti, Jean Santilli, Roberto Aiudi: all very significant names.

He has made many exhibitions, both personal and collective in Italy and in Europe.

Aldina works with stoneware, and the high temperatures, the Raku and Raku Naked technique, a variant of the classic Raku, in which the pieces do not have enamel and the colorations leave only the color of the mud and the smoke that penetrates the cracked that forms in the enamel with the temperature change.
