Villages of Dreams, an international online solo painting exhibition by Joseph Derry Osmann opens on January 15, and will continue for two months until March 15, 2024.
Joseph Osmann recent series of dream-like paintings of villages evolved over the past two years. Composed of places, people and animals and lit by sweeping angles of blues and violets, these works are composed of memories from places visited in the fog of dreams.

Artist:
Joseph holds a BFA from Penn State and the Slade School of Fine Arts, University College of London. His MFA is from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He is a past director of the Maryland Center for the Arts, Goucher College, Towson, MD. He has taught studio art and art history for decades, currently at the Osher Institute, Colorado State University.
