MARFANITE, an international online solo photography exhibition by RIKXECOM opens on August 20 and will continue for two months until October 20, 2023.
RIKXECOM's artistic focus is continually shifting, adapting to new technologies to maximize exploring all the creative possibilities. Visionary art by a Marfanite is a visual language fully dedicated and a half century of photographic experiences.
Rik's art captures the beauty of the ordinary as art is about capturing those moments that are gone by nature constant renewal process, moments that we find when we slow down and listen to nature. Freshly grown flowers have such a short life measured in days, a breathtaking sunrise or sunset will give photography the light to redesigning the flowers original color tones, a sense of joy is witnessed in the moment. It's about embracing the little things nature present, the simple pleasures that often go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. So, pause, soak in the beauty of these still images.

I strive to create meaningful pieces of art that spark joy, imagination and exploration. My work is often a reflection of my spiritual journey, and I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the power of the human spirit. I believe that art feeds our escape, and I strive to create pieces that will speak to the hearts of my viewers. Each piece is an expression of my subconscious and spiritual journey, and I invite you to explore my works of art and be inspired.
As a multi-disciplinary artist based in Florida. From a young age, I was inspired by my mother to explore the world of art and expression. My passion for art led me to open my own studio in 1982, where I was able to express myself through a variety of mediums.
In addition to my artistic pursuits, I was also a youth chess champion by the age of 10. Despite being diagnosed with Marfan’s Syndrome in my pre-teens and having many surgeries, this did not stop me from pursuing my passions.
I continue to combine my love of art with my appreciation for aerial photography, bringing my unique talents to the forefront of my work. I invite you to explore my artwork and journey with me as I continue to share my creative expression.
My passion is to explore the depths of art and create something that will surprise and evoke emotion. I use a variety of mediums to bring my art to life, from traditional to digital. Driven by my artistic perspective I invite you to join me on this journey and explore the world of art.
My art pieces have been featured in a variety of mediums, from television to magazines and galleries. My work has been seen on CBS New York, the Architectural Digest segment (5 million viewers) and New York Photoville (1million viewers). Additionally, my work is currently being promoted by the Arizona Camelback Gallery for 365 days. I am also proud to announce that my work will be featured in the upcoming Santa Fe Convention Center Art Show.
