Hoffman created HOT•BED to be an alternative to the traditional white-box gallery—a place where art, design, and horticulture collide. A clubhouse of cool, HOT•BED bridges the gap between creative spheres through exhibitions, artist studio space, and events. HOT•BED is Philadelphia’s horticultural oasis, featuring an ever-changing curation of organic materials. Visitors of HOT•BED can discover artwork among furniture and plant pairings that evoke a complimentary design aesthetic. HOT•BED invites community and creative collaboration into all aspects of their curatorial process.
