Sarah Schneiderman of Glastonbury, CT is being featured in a solo exhibition at The Indian Hill Country Club, 111 Golf Street, Newington, CT. This show is displayed in the Ball Room as well as Metacomet Rooms of the Club.

 

This exhibit – Aquatic Life Series – consists of fish made from found and recycled materials and everyday debris. This artwork investigates the relationship between the beauty of the oceans, massive amounts of trash generated by human beings, and the impact of human activity on sea creatures and reefs.

This exhibit will run from December 20, 2017 to late February 2018. Hours are:

Wednesday - Friday 12 - 7.

Saturday and Sunday 11 - 5. 

 

Join us for a Free Opening “Wine and Cheese” Reception which will be held on Thursday, January 11th from 6-8 p.m.

Artist ( Description ): 

Sarah is a certified scuba diver with over 500 dives. All the fish represented in this exhibition are ones she identified while diving.

Sarah received an MFA from California Institute of the Arts. Her work has been exhibited across the United States from Georgia to Washington State including stops in New York, Maryland, Iowa, and Colorado. Publications include Glastonbury Life, Artist Portfolio Magazine, ArtExhibeo.Com, and ArtKatalyst.
