Interwoven is an exhibit by a group of artists who have been meeting for several years to pursue shared questions of making art in our time. Members originate from places as distant as India and Germany, and as near as Davis. Educated in many aspects of art and design, the group shares a deep curiosity and immersion in art. Interwoven is comprised of a variety of media, including painting, collage, photography, and sculpture, and approaches to artistic expression. Participating artists include Lynn Beldner, Hannah Hunter, Joan Jarvis, Rachel Kline, Jamie Madison, Edith Sauer Polonik, Sara Post, and Binuta Sudhakaran.

 

Interwoven Artists’ Talk

Sunday, October 23, 2-3:15 PM | Free, suggested donation $10

For the Artists’ Talk, artists Sara Post, Joan Jarvis, Lynn Beldner, and Binuta Sudhakaran will share insights into their work, from their process and materials, to the concepts behind their selected pieces in Interwoven.The artists will also share information on other works in the Gallery. Questions from attendees are welcome!
