June 2nd, 6 – 8 pm ~ RENZO VOUS, ADRIENNE HERR, ANTIKYTHERA, SPARROW, AMANDA SALANE
Please join us at 532 Gallery Thomas Jaeckel for an evening of poetry and music.
Organized in response to Danny Rolph’s current exhibition “WCW,” the event will bring together three musical acts and two poet-performers.
About the featured artists:
RENZO VOUS roots himself in a lasting vision of days past. Like many not around to witness the horrors of its reality, he is driven by a romanticized version of 80s pop music, launching his hook-heavy songwriting into the world of “Electronic Music for Dancing” with the help of analog synthesizers and sampled drums.
ADRIENNE HERR is a poet. Recently published in TAGVVERK, Arachne, HORSEGIRL and okcook.co. You may also find her work online at adriennes.site
ANTIKYTHERA consists of Ben Tripp and Jeff Grunthaner.
SPARROW lives in a doublewide trailer in Phoenicia, N.Y. His recent hobbies are watching standup comedy & practicing Zen Buddhist meditation. Sparrow’s latest book is On certain nights everyone in the USA has the same dream (Inpatient Press).
AMANDA SALANE is a multidisciplinary artist and performer specializing in artistic expression as a tool for healing.
Organized by Jeffrey Grunthaner
