Dolby Chadwick Gallery is proud to present the works of eighteen contemporary artists:
Rachelle Agundes, Jaq Chartier, Marshall Crossman, Bernadette Jiyong Frank, Sherie’ Franssen, Ann Gale, Hollis Heichemer, Mayme Kratz, Louise LeBourgeois, Katherine Tzu-Lan Mann, Vanessa Marsh, Danae Mattes, Lisa McCutcheon, Jennifer Pochinski, Lisa Russell, Ada Sadler, Ann Weber, and Deborah Zlotsky.
The works presented here do not resemble each other in approach or vision. Styles range from realism to abstract; they draw inspirations from diverse areas such as politics, poetry, childhood memories, and nature; they work with oil, acrylic, organic matter, ink, resin, photography, watercolor, clay, and cardboard. These artists have received an impressive and wide range of curatorial and critical attention. But they all have one thing in common: a lifetime commitment to a focused practice.
“We are very fortunate and honored to work with this collection of gifted artists who have dedicated their lives to making art,” gallery founder Lisa Dolby Chadwick says, “this exhibition is a celebration of just that.”
The opening reception and celebration will be held on Thursday, December 6th from 5:30–7:30.
