“Technology is the bud of our time, the leap to our next Renaissance.” In the North Gallery, Image Renaissance keys into creators who have backgrounds in traditional medium of photography and painting, while incorporating the expanded digital tools and palette now available as part of the 21st century. Works by Paul-Émile Rioux, Michael Toole, Susan Copich, Michael Storey Martin and Terrance DePietro help understand this next true renaissance of art. Where does technology leave what is called ‘Fine Art’? What are the new methods to convey iconic, timeless archetypes using the language of new symbolisms? At a time when technology has finally caught up with the aesthetic, and allows for adaptation of technique, a seamless application can finally be seen. These creatives make the leap from traditional medium to new mediums, from classic technique through technology.

Windham Fine Arts is a contemporary gallery located in the heart of historic downtown Windham, New York, just 2 hours north of New York City. We opened our doors in 2001 after a 3 year restoration of the original 1855 structure. Steeped in local elegance and charm, with over 3000 square feet of curated space, the gallery is enjoyed by artists and patrons alike. Representing many diverse and distinguished artists, both local and internationally acclaimed, we present solo and group exhibitions, while hosting cultural and art events year round.
