Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 8th Annual Artist’s Choice International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this open (no theme) exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography in any subject matter and any media. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The 8th Annual Artist’s Choice Best in Show winners are Kym Lee for her acrylic on canvas, " HEATBEATS”, Jyl Blackwell for her digital painting, “FATAL ATTRACTION” and Robert Obier for his mixed media on wood, “ICON XRX”. Kym, Jyl and Robert are Fusion Art's Featured Artists for the month of May 2023 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art's Group Show in Santa Fe, NM in 2024.

Other award winners include Second Place winners Bella Bishop, Karen Safer and Michele Bourdeau. Third Place awards were given to Mehrnosh Kaecker, John H Diephouse and Judith M Sachs. Fourth Place awards were given to Lorna Hannett, Garret Demarest and Carole Hatcher. Fifth Place awards were given to Linda McCord, Maureen Ravnik and Tatiana Leimkueller.

In addition, six artistic excellence awards and twelve honorable mention awards were given due to the exceptional quality of the art received for this exhibition. The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Taiwan, China, Austria, Japan, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, Poland and the United Arab Emirates. Overall, the gallery judged 341 entries and accepted 97 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website homepage for 3 months. After that it will remain in the Exhibition Archives.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure through the gallery’s extensive marketing and social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
