"Immersion" Exhibition Opening Reception at Whimsy Pasadena

Acclaimed fine artist Heather Horton will introduce an exhibition called Immersion at Whimsy Pasadena from October 14 through 22. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, October 14 from 5pm to 9pm. RSVP is required.

Immersion is a collection of autobiographical works incorporating magical realism that explore the tension between representational and emotive images. The body of work is undoubtedly touched by pain as Heather endured a major back surgery earlier this year, yet also celebrates the burgeoning joy of a new relationship with her own body since her recovery from anorexia nearly 13 years ago.

The show will feature over 30 oil paintings and will be on display from October 14 to the 22, daily from 11am to 6pm. Heather will be onsite painting during various times throughout the week.
