Gallery House invites you to look into the future in its new show, “2020 Vision.” More than 30 artists share their vision of what to expect, what to hope for, or what they are looking for in the upcoming year. These painters, sculptors, ceramicists, jewelers, mixed media artists and photographers invite you to look into their works as crystal balls for your own hopes and imagination. We are starting the year off with an explosion of color and subject matter at our newly renovated Gallery House, 320 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA from January 7 through Feb. 1, 2020. A reception with the artists will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. It is free to the public and a great time to share your imagination with the artists.
“All of us have hopes and expectations coming into 2020. Art communicates a vision and an essence.” says textile artist and show coordinator, Anne Lamborn. “What I see in this show is an optimism and a sort of positive clairvoyance that dominates, in spite of uncertainty.”
“All of our artists have brought their visual acuity to the fore in the works they selected to show this month,” says photographer Michael Endicott. “Whether the work is ultra-realist, impressionist or abstract, and whether it is presented on canvas, ceramic, metal or wood, you are sure to find something that will resonate with you!”
One thing is for sure, art is the best medicine for our times.
