The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition

Agora Gallery is pleased to announce The Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Exhibition, a juried exhibition of paintings, photographs, and tapestries in a wide range of styles and media. Our annual fine arts competition exhibition provides a select group of artists with the opportunity to showcase their work in the heart of Chelsea, New York’s very own art district. The winners were handpicked among hundreds of international and local applicants by an esteemed panel of jurors. The judging committee is comprised of Julie Reiss, art historian, editor, and former educator at Christie’s Education’s MA program; Angel Bellaran, curator, visual activist, and academic teaching at the non-profits organization Studio Montclair and former director of the School of Visual Arts’ MA in Curatorial Practice; and Tasneem Zakaria Mehta, director of the Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum in Mumbai, India. The exhibition will run from August 23 to August 30, 2022 with an opening reception on Thursday, August 25, 6-8 PM.
