The birds portrayed in paintings of this exhibition are cranes. These feathered and winged creatures, a symbol of renewal, happiness, loyalty, wisdom, freedom and longevity in various cultures around the world, who return home every spring, are an inspiration to the artist.
In the artist’s paintings, cranes - carriers of inner flight, peace and tranquility - serve as a way of grasping one's spiritual impulse that reaches not only the artist but also the viewer, thus giving an impression of soothing freedom and elevation.
