Albert Smith: Color and Joy

These color and light-filled Northern California 'landscapes of the mind' serve as a joyous reflection of Smith's prolific body of work and his continuous desire to paint. He paints with well-worn brushes with acrylic and creates unexpected power structures with simple brush strokes and deep rich hues which result in a textured surface.

The exhibit runs from June 7th to July 6th, 2017, at Art Ventures Gallery at 888 Santa Cruz Avenue in Menlo Park, California (in the heart of Silicon Valley).  

There will be a champagne reception with the artist on June 7th, 4-7PM.
