Carlos Buitrago’s solo paint exhibition, Wanderlust Trails, explores the exhilarating and unpredictable nature of a journey, drawing parallels between the physical trails one traverses and inner paths of self-discovery. While his travels to Colombia have enriched his artistic formation, it is California that has given him the most support and recognition in his career. In "Wanderlust Trails” Carlos invites viewers to drift through environments imbued with a sense of adventure and introspection.

I delve into the essence of our shared experiences, capturing moments of beauty, conflict, joy, and introspection. My work is a celebration of the diverse and intricate tapestries that make up our lives, reflecting both the visible world and the hidden layers of the human psyche.
