Opening Reception + Thinkspace Night Market
Saturday, January 13, 6-10pm
Thinkspace Projects welcomes the new year with new exhibitions from five artists, kicking off 2024 in New Contemporary Art Style. Opening on January 13, 2024, with a reception from 6PM to 10PM and the Thinkspace Night Market.
At the Opening will be live painting from Roshi, an artist mini-mart with booths from Sean Keeton, Raymond Argumedo, Crux, Fl.our Pots and Anthony Manorek, amazing grub from Hulk Smash Burgers, open bar, The Cure Company, free Liquid Death, video projections from Digital Debris Video Gallery, and soundtrack by Venice Beats. Special thanks to GoopMassta for keeping the 'Courtyard Sessions' vibes going strong.
Main Gallery: Super A • Atypical. Dutch artist Stefan Thelen, Super A, creates hyperreal murals and studio paintings that explore the world of human contradiction.
Gallery II: Humbly • Make Them Real. Debut U.S. solo show from Philippines based artist Humbly–born Bryan Reynald Antonio–imaginative and adventure-filled worlds, characterized by children donning extravagant costumes and embarking on journeys.
Gallery III: Gustavo Rimada • Campo Santo. Drawing on his personal history, from his early childhood in Mexico where he found a love of drawing to his adolescence in Indio, California, and his time in the Army.
Gallery IV: Anthony Solano • Alive & Well. The artist’s sophomore solo show with the gallery and the fourth chapter within an ongoing story told through Solano’s vibrant and recognizable style of painting.
Dog House: L. Croskey • Cuttin’ It Close. A diary of emotions from his past and the lessons he has learned from these various, funny, sometimes dark relationships, and sometimes just good old-fashioned sex.
