Las Laguna Gallery has found artists who have created works of art that explore the nude human figure in varied states of naked.
Throughout history artists have successfully challenged and inspired viewers through their depiction of the nude human figure. From Francisco de Goya's "The Nude Maja", Hokusai's "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife", Schiele's "Friendship", or Manet's "Olympia" the human form in its glory have caused viewers to blush. Other points of reference are Warhols’ “Querelle”, Sascha Schneiders’ “Feeling of Dependency”, or Diego Velázquez's "Rokeby Venus".
This exhibition features local, domestic, national artists with works in Acrylic, Oil, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, Traditional and Digital Photography.
