p:ear is a nonprofit program located in Old Town / China Town Portland that builds positive relationships with homeless and transitional youth through education, art and recreation to affirm personal worth and create more meaningful and healthier lives. On-site is the p:ear gallery, in which p:ear youth and guest artists display and sell their work in bi-monthly art shows. Youth keep 90% of the sales of their work, one of the many ways p:ear is helping youth transition into a healthy adulthood and a constructive relationship with money.
