Title : Exploring Nature through Art

Description : In this class, campers will use an exciting variety of art-making processes that focus on the natural environment and life science. Using a range of art materials such as watercolors, cyanotypes, and clay, we will make finished artworks that will express growing skill sets and ideas discussed in class. Additionally, campers will explore ways to connect with each other and experience art on the internet in a manner that is meaningful and engaging.
Teacher's Bio : Joshua Moreno is an interdisciplinary artist from Watsonville, California. He received his BFA at the University of California San Diego where he studied studio art with an emphasis in sculpture and installation. Since 2012, he has been an art educator teaching courses in art history, filmmaking, and studio art. Currently, he is an MFA art practice candidate at Stanford University.
