This date marks the sixth year of this favored event, with a very special addition to this year’s show as Miller will be releasing his newest book, JD Miller; Reflections From Dragon Street. Viewers will have the unique opportunity to witness Miller’s artistic vision by watching him create a masterpiece right before their eyes. Each year, McShan’s Florist has donated a one-of-a-kind floral arrangement that Miller interprets on canvas. As he utilizes color, texture, and shape to create a visual experience like you have never seen before.

This Valentine’s Day weekend, audiences will have the opportunity to become a collector of JD Miller’s iconic oeuvre. Samuel Lynne Galleries will raffle off some of Miller’s sought-after Zen Acrylic artworks, as well as the opportunity to purchase Miller’s newest artist book. We will conclude the evening with a book signing to have your copy commemorated by the artist.

JD Miller began his painting career 25 years ago with a vision. To perfect his style of 3-dimensional oil painting, from his first painting translations of classical works by artists like Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, and Paul Gaugin, to the creation and evolution of his own style. Miller imbues his prismatic work with a spirit of positive energy, love, peace, and joy as a fulfillment of his Reflectionist philosophy. Within Reflectionism, Miller calls upon the universal vibrations of light and sound to flow through him, which allows for the molding of oil paint; a unique process that distinguishes him from other artists. Miller creates impactful, strong, enlivening canvases that take viewers on an existential journey. Miller’s passion for painting and his process for positive energy attracting positive energy translates the law of vibration into the passion emanating from his work.

This annual event is a favorite among clients, friends, and art appreciators alike. Open to the public and kid-friendly, the live performance is a wonderful way to kick off your plans for this Valentine’s evening.
