“ANOTHER DOOR OPENS” Over 30 doors designed by Chicago’s brightest stars will be auctioned to benefit Chicago House.

In honor of Chicago House’s 30th anniversary, over 30 doors will be reimagined and designed by Chicago’s most celebrated talents with 100% of proceeds benefiting Chicago House. The much-anticipated event will be THE design event of the year with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live music.

Experience a unique evening of sophisticated and artful support of the Chicago House Music and Performing Arts Program, benefiting children impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Guests will enjoy the work of over 30 of Chicago’s top designers as they mix and mingle and take in the sights and displays of one of the City’s most unique event and retails spaces. Bring your inner artist as each of our guests will have a chance to add a personal touch to a live art piece.

A select group of Chicago’s best interior designers, architects, and artists have been invited to participate in “Another Door Opens,” to redefine what a door is and what it can become.  Architectural Artifacts is providing participants with one or two vintage oak or pine doors.  It’s up to them and their uber-talented teams to re-imagine the door in any way they wish.  Architectural Artifacts will host a giant cocktail party where the doors will be auctioned off, silent-auction style.
