Opening:
Friday, 11 November 2022 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm

For this Jerwood Staging Series 2022 event, commissioned artist Ashanti Harris will be joined by Titana Muthui to lead an interactive performance workshop which encourages participants to explore and redefine personal relationships to the body and the environments it moves through.

Shifting between collaged narratives centred in Black histories, descriptions of real and imagined spaces, movement provocations and guided body awareness exercises, the performance workshop invites the audience to consider the many layers of narratives which intersect and overlap with their own experiences and to MOVE with them.

This event is free to attend, book now.

Format

This interactive performance will last approximately 60 minutes.

This performance workshop is participatory and will include short moments of movement including walking, standing and sitting on the floor.

All invited movement is optional and there is no expectation on the audience to “perform”.
