Join Rachel Joyce, the award-winning author of the Sunday Times and international bestsellers ‘The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry’, ‘Perfect’, ‘The Love Song of Miss Queenie Hennessy’, ‘The Music Shop’, and ‘Miss Benson’s Beetle’ for an insightful discussion at Firstsite.

Rachel will be discussing how the landscape plays an inspirational and important role in her writing, in among her admiration of Denis Wirth-Miller’s paintings.

Rachel Joyce’s essay ‘A Writer’s Impression’ was commissioned for the Firstsite publication ‘Denis Wirth-Miller: Landscapes and Beasts’ which coincides with the exhibition of the same name. Joyce’s forthcoming novel, ‘Maureen Fry & the Angel of the North’, will be published on 22 October this year.
