Date:
Friday, 16 June 2017

London’s first and only occult-themed variety and club night C O V E N  has landed at the Underdog Gallery. You can expect a theatrical, musical and ritualistic array of performance artists and otherworldly creatures.

Doors Open: 8:30pm

Show: 9:30pm -11pm

Aftershow Party: 11pm - 1am with DJ and a live band.

Tickets must be purchased at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/c-o-v-e-n-diamond-underdogs-tickets-33509433618

C O V E N is a sacred space, an arena for performance of every kind, for performers young and old, well-known and unknown, experimental and improvised as well established sets and routines.

The first show at the gallery next is called Diamond Underdogs. This is a celebration of the occultist freaks, burned witches and outcast travesties with diamonds, dance, ritual and rock ’n’ roll.

We will show that in these darkening times, that the disenfranchised can be the most powerful, that the underbelly is still there and raw and frightening. The performances fit the theme, but it is up to each performer to identify and translate it in their own way.

The line up includes:

-  Venus Raven, ceremonial immersive performance

-  Lewis Burton, gender bending monster drag

- Ruby Wednesday, punk trash enfante terrible

- Master Dominic, no-holds-barred gory fetish performance.

We are livening things up even more - the first 100 people to buy tickets will be entered into our competition. On the night, we will then draw two names, the owners of which will come on stage and compete against each other in a MAGICKAL DUEL for the prize.
