Second Nature‘s week-long programme is a wild garden. Down-to-earth repair workshops, group discussions and family workshops sit alongside imaginative performances, talks, poetry, and explorations. We dream big and start small: the environment is right here; the climate is the weather; the future is as close as tomorrow!

From free events covering food communities and borders, to Artificial Intelligence and the Anthropocene, join us for a wide-ranging programme entangling these many aspects of climate, sustainability environment. We ask, long-term, how can we re-examine our habits to make care for our future Second Nature?

Miyuki Kasahara’s installation Can you hear us? will exhibit for a limited time in the Bow Arts Courtyard, available to view during events. Composed of a series of speech bubbles, the work responds to the pollinator crisis.

Closing the week in style, climate organising group ESEA Green Lions will takeover the Bow Arts site. Expect an eco-conscious maker’s market, live DJs, a free programme of events exploring Asian diasporic sci-fi, and a family workshop open to all.
