Exhibition Type:

Date:
Saturday, 20 July 2019 to Sunday, 22 September 2019

This summer our main gallery will be brought to life through an interactive ‘live’ exhibition. Hatch ’19 is a summer art school for all; a chance to learn about different creative experiences and skills across a wide range of art forms from craft and design to music and dance.

Experiment with materials and movement and be ready to embrace the unexpected; hatch new ideas; see the beauty in making mistakes; and most of all have fun!

Our gallery will be transformed in to a making space with weekly artists in residence. Look out for our lively programme of workshops, talks, drop in activities and demonstrations too.

Visitors can also find out about what it takes to become a designer or maker in our zone charting the fascinating journeys and different career pathways of some of Britain’s talented artists and designers.

Who knew Art School could be so much fun!
