With simple line drawings of ordinary objects and mundane moments, Perfect outlines an alternative vision to the competitive pursuit of perfectionism in modern society.
As though retrieved from a surreal flower press, people, plants and vessels are presented flattened and slightly out of shape; multiple minimalist selves cross architectural and art historical references; impressions of unrelated scenes captured on paper.
With each drawing a gentle act of rebellion, against colour theory and perspective, against hierarchies between foreground and background, humans and things, Noisy World celebrates the humane and humorous aspects of everyday life.
