Form & Flux interrogates the idea of form as a living, mutable structure rather than a fixed conclusion. Through shifting, rupturing, re‑assembling and responding to its surroundings, the work proposes that contemporary form is simultaneously visual, conceptual, emotional and temporal. By bringing together a diverse group of Turkish artists working across media, the show explores transformation, continuity, fragmentation and the ever‑changing relationship between gesture, structure and perception.
The tension between “form” (boundary, definition) and “flux” (permeability, instability) creates an oscillation of permanence versus transformation, control versus intuition, stability versus ephemerality. Each work builds layered relationships between material resistance and gestural freedom, disciplined composition and chance, inviting viewers to experience form as an ongoing process, a trace, a passage.
This exhibition extends BBProjectt’s dialogue from Istanbul to London, making visible multiple voices of contemporary Turkish art within an international framework and opening new conversations about shared aesthetic and conceptual concerns beyond geography.
