DOM Art Residence × Personal Structures 2026: Digital Residency in Venice

During the 2026 Venice Biennale, DOM Art Residence presents its first-ever Digital Residency as part of Personal Structures, the international exhibition organised by the European Cultural Centre (ECC).

Inside the historic Palazzo Bembo, DOM will install a scenographic shipping container — a symbol of both institutional rigidity and global movement. Within this space, visitors will encounter something unique: a live connection to artists’ studios around the world.

Over six months, 12 international artists across painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, performance, digital and cross-disciplinary practices will stream their working process directly into the container. Visitors will witness daily environments, sketches, doubts, breakthroughs, and reflections — unfiltered and in real time.

As the Biennale unfolds, the container will gradually fill with artworks created during the residency and shipped to Venice. What begins as an empty shell becomes a living archive of trust, time, and uncompromising creation.
