International artist duo LALONDE & LALONDE, Bailey and Christi Lalonde, have announced the dates for their SS26 Europe Art Tour, comprising Düsseldorf, Munich, Venice, Paris, Cannes, and Barcelona.
As part of the art tour, the artists will present “The Dance: Between Polarity”, a project where boxing meets the female form, abstraction meets emotion, and tension becomes movement. The collection explores the legacy of boxing as one of the oldest Olympic sports through the cultural lens. The artists reflect on ritual and the identity of the individual in the ring, examining the theme of boxing through conflict, connection, and movement, with depictions of boxers, dancers and abstract human forms.
In addition to the exhibition, the tour introduces the T.K.O.O. (Taking Kare Of Our Own) initiative - a philanthropic project founded by Donny Lalonde in collaboration with Mambu Bayoh, which is aimed to support champion boxers through multidisciplinary exhibitions of art and culture.
LALONDE & LALONDE is the collaborative painting practice of Bailey and Christi Lalonde. Working on shared canvases, the mother–daughter duo creates figurative paintings through layering and reworking, dissolving singular authorship into a unified visual language. Figures emerge through material process, balancing gesture and restraint. Rooted in dialogue, the work emphasizes presence and emotional immediacy. Developed over five years, it has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections.
