“Multiverse of Dreams” is a journey-exhibition created by five artists - Alissa Mitzkewich, Maria Saliuk (dochpravednyh), Varvara Davleeva, Daria Nagda and Katya Frolova. Here, each artwork becomes a portal into a unique world, offering a different way of perceiving reality. In this space, familiar boundaries gradually dissolve: the personal merges with the collective, the real with the imaginary, the mythical with the technological, the absurd with the poetic.
Alissa’s colorful, surreal, and dystopian landscapes explore the distortions of contemporary reality shaped by technological progress, and they resonate with Maria’s world - vivid, absurd, and playful - that unfolds through the pages of her comics and sketchbooks, turning humour into a lens through which reality is examined. Katya’s graphic black-and-white universes combine the naivety of childhood fairy tales with folkloric horror, staging a dialogue between bright fantasy and a troubled unconscious. Meanwhile, Varvara’s intimate fragments of everyday life, captured on canvas, crystallise into frozen memories that viewers are invited to inhabit.
According to the exhibition concept, the exposition unfolds like a map of wanderings, where each work is a new coordinate, and each universe tells its own story. It is a journey through worlds - both imagined and real, eternal and fleeting. These worlds live not only on canvases, in sketchbooks and photographs, but also in the imagination of the viewer, invited to embark on an adventure across dimensions.
