HIDDEN Gallery presents solo show by Yukako Manabe as a part of Japanese series

HIDDEN Gallery announces the opening of Yukako Manabe's exhibition, the newest addition to our Japanese series at HIDDEN Gallery.

Yukako Manabe, a Tokyo native born in 1994, has made significant strides in the art world. She earned her degree in Japanese Painting from Tokyo University of the Arts, followed by a master's in Printmaking from the same institution. Her artistic practice is characterized by a unique blend of traditional Japanese techniques and contemporary printmaking, allowing her to navigate the delicate line between reality and imagination. Notable exhibitions include her solo show "たたずむあの人 (The girl, standing still)" at Isetan Shinjuku Tokyo and her participation in prominent events like ART FAIR TOKYO 2018 and Art Expo Malaysia (MECC). Between 2019 and 2020, she broadened her horizons by studying in Poland through the ERASMUS+ program.

HIDDEN Gallery is committed to spotlighting artists who may not yet have a prominent presence in Prague's art community but possess a distinctive vision and style that defies conventional trends. Gallery's mission is to bring these talents to light, allowing them to emerge from obscurity.

The inception of HIDDEN Gallery stemmed from a passion for uncovering hidden narratives and showcasing promising artists. Founded by Filip Kartousek, a photographer and curator with a keen interest in the unseen facets of life, the gallery initially operated in non-traditional venues before establishing its home on Bořivojova Street in Prague. This evolution reflects our commitment to providing a space where innovative ideas can flourish away from mainstream attention.

HIDDEN Gallery welcomes Yukako Manabe's work and invite you to engage with her thought-provoking pieces that challenge perceptions and encourage introspection. This exhibition promises to be an enriching experience, offering insights into the intricate relationship between our inner worlds and external realities.
