Where the Wild Things Are, an international online solo oil painting exhibition by Jen Goldman, opens on December 10, 2024, and will continue for two months until February 10, 2025.

"Where the Wild Things Are" invites viewers to journey into the vibrant, untamed world of wildlife through the lens and palette of Jen Goldman. This dynamic exhibition showcases bold oil paintings inspired by Jen’s global adventures, capturing the essence of majestic creatures and their habitats with extraordinary color and texture. Each piece transforms her photographic memories into textured works of art, offering a visceral and emotional connection to the beauty and vulnerability of the natural world.

Artist ( Description ): 

Jen Goldman, a wildlife artist skilled in both photography and oil on canvas, infuses her artworks with the essence of her global wildlife encounters. Raised in Los Angeles, California, her strong affinity for animals drives her artistic passion. Despite a career spanning 24 years in health, wellness, and legal fields, Jen felt unfulfilled. Even though she earned dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Michigan in 2014, she pursued photography courses for the next four years at Santa Monica College while working full-time. She also began painting studies on weekends with local artist Susan Manders, who has mentored her for the past decade.

Jen’s commitment and achievements in her career as a Program Director at a law firm have afforded her the opportunity to embark on wildlife adventures worldwide.  Upon returning from her travels, Jen translates her experiences onto canvas using oils, creating bold, textured paintings inspired by her photography.
