Vivid Vibes: Where Colors Sing, an international online mixed media and painting exhibition by Zhanna Urodovskikh, officially opens on May 10 and will continue for two months until July 10, 2025.

In Vivid Vibes: Where Colors Sing, Zhanna Urodovskikh invites us on a radiant journey through imagination, emotion, and the everyday wonders we often overlook. With roots in Samara, Russia, and a life now blooming in California, Zhanna weaves her multicultural perspective into vibrant visual stories that transcend language—letting color speak in tones only the heart can hear.

This solo exhibition presents a dynamic collection of paintings and mixed media works, where cats leap across dreamscapes, city facades shimmer with layered textures, and teapots converse in still-life symphonies. Each piece is infused with expressive motion, bold palettes, and a certain tactile joy that comes from Zhanna’s signature experimentation with mediums. Whether using collage, impasto, brush, or crayon, she captures life’s quirky beauty and soulful quiet moments in a way that feels both intimate and universal.

Zhanna’s art is not about grand declarations. It’s about discovering wonder in the curve of a leaf, the slant of sunlight, or the quiet gaze of a companion animal. Her works celebrate both whimsy and reflection, encouraging viewers to slow down and feel—to find something of themselves in the layered strokes, playful silhouettes, and unexpected textures. They pulse with movement yet invite stillness. They are spontaneous yet deeply intentional.

Having resumed her artistic path in 2019 after a long pause, Zhanna has quickly become a recognized presence in the Bay Area art scene, with numerous juried exhibitions under her belt and membership in the San Francisco Women Artists collective. Her architectural background informs the strong structural sensibility in her compositions, while her painter’s heart frees that structure into bursts of poetic expression.

Vivid Vibes: Where Colors Sing officially opens on May 10 and will run until July 10, 2025, exclusively online at: https://www.exhibizone.com/vivid-vibes-exhibition

Let yourself be moved. Let the colors sing to you.

Artist ( Description ):

Originally from Samara, Russia, I have been drawing and painting since childhood. I studied art in the art school and received a BS in Architecture from the Samara State University of Architecture and Engineering.

Life paths led me to California and to work in a completely different field, but my love for art and creativity was always within me. I started to draw and paint again in 2019 after a long break.

Since 2021 I have been juried into multiple shows at Las Laguna Art Gallery, Mt Si Artist Guild, Red Bluff Art Gallery, San Rafael Library & Recreation Dept. Falkirk Open Juried Exhibits, KBM Art Gallery LLC, Palo Alto Art Center and SFWA Gallery.

Current member of the SFWA: San Francisco Women Artists.
