Artist:
Nathaniel Opoku is a highly accomplished individual, holding a Master of Arts degree in Art Education from Kent State University in the United States. Throughout his academic journey, Nathaniel has exhibited exceptional dedication and expertise in the field of art education.
As a graduate teaching assistant for the Monday and Wednesday Art Enrichment Program, Nathaniel played a pivotal role in supporting Kent State art education majors during the AY 2021–23 spring and fall semesters. His responsibilities as a graduate teaching assistant were diverse and demanding. Nathaniel diligently graded various written assignments, including artist and artwork research papers, lesson plans, self-reflection reports, students' observation reports, and mentorship papers.
Additionally, he provided valuable guidance and supervision during the operation of the Art Enrichment Program, ensuring its smooth functioning. Nathaniel's contributions were particularly instrumental in coordinating the setup for the Final Art Show, an event that showcased the exceptional talent of the students. During the fall semester of 2021, Nathaniel took part in ARTE 61191 Seminar 1 in Art Education, an online course that showcased his exceptional preparedness and insightful engagement with the course materials.
