Nature's Light, an international online solo painting art exhibition by Daniela Bahry opens on July 30, and will continue for two months until September 30, 2024.
Daniela Bahry’s work, "Nature's Light," invites viewers to immerse themselves in the natural beauty that surrounds her daily life. Inspired by the trails of Edmonton's river valley, her own backyard, and her travels near and far, Daniela's work is a vibrant celebration of nature’s tranquility and splendor. Her paintings, characterized by their vivid colors and lyrical brush strokes, evoke a sense of movement and presence. Viewers can almost feel the wind rustling through fields of flowers and whispering through the trees. Daniela’s unique ability to transport the viewer into the very places she finds inspiration creates a deeply personal and immersive experience. Artist:
I am an Edmonton born Artist. I realized early on in my life that I loved to draw, skate and dance and took every possible art class throughout Jr. and Sr. High School, all while figure skating and dancing. After High School I went into the Design Arts Program at Grant MacEwan College and graduated, majoring in Display. I continued on coaching figure skating and dancing, which I still do. After starting a family, my creative outlet was channeled into dress designing and choreography. It wasn’t until 6 years ago that my now grown daughter, took me out to a Paint Nite and my passion for painting was rekindled. I started to “practice” and posted my work. To my surprise, my friends loved my work and my pieces sold one after another. This continued with commission requests and my clientele expanded thanks to social media as well as many small businesses that support and promote artists!.
I am primarily a self taught painter. I create from inspiration and the love of what is around me. I am still forever playing with ideas, methods and the LOVE to using vibrant colors. Some of my inspiration comes from photographs, taken by me, nature, when I’m out with my puppy of 6 years, gardening, animals, and pretty much what I love to surround myself in my world.
