"Floral Visions" by Rebecca Ogun invites viewers to explore the delicate interplay between color, memory, and emotion through her vibrant depictions of floral arrangements. Her evolving artistic style blends abstract storytelling with tangible memories, allowing each painting to resonate deeply with the beauty of everyday life. Drawing inspiration from nature’s colors and forms, Rebecca’s floral compositions reflect a world of feelings—inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find their own connections within each petal and brushstroke.

Artist:
My passion for art began at a young age, growing up in an artistic household. This passion continued to grow as I was able to travel and interpret things through my artistic eyes. In 2005, I graduated with a BFA from The University of Texas at San Antonio, concentrating on painting. In 2012, I graduated from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, with an MFA focusing on the culture of family and women in Turkish daily life. In 2018, I decided to open an art studio in North Cyprus. I had students of all ages wanting to learn more about creating art, from group lessons to private lessons. Throughout these years, I have exhibited artworks in several countries, including the USA, Turkey, and North Cyprus, as well as online. Presently, I am a high school art teacher helping students strengthen their artistic and creative abilities.
