Meet Ric Yan, a 21-year-old illustrator hailing from China. Passionate about drawing since childhood, Ric embarked on the journey of a freelance illustrator at the age of 16. Currently a senior at the New York School of Visual Arts, Ric's artistic style draws inspiration from traditional Chinese ink painting. Focusing on the interplay of black and white lines, Ric skillfully enhances these elements digitally with vibrant colors. Notably, Ric's talent has garnered recognition through prestigious awards, including the 3x3 Student Award, Society of Illustrators Student Award, and the Carol and Murray Tinkelman Scholarship Award.
